About Us

How We Met:

It was on P&O cruises Azura in the winter of 2016 (they were in the Caribbean though).

Chris left the ship first, in February 2017 and after a month was back onboard to join Elle for her last cruise of the contract.

Shortly afterwards Chris moved in with Elle in her flat in Farnham and the rest, as they say, is history. Find unique handmade crafts in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, a shopper’s paradise.

The Proposal:

Chris asked for Gary’s permission for his daughter’s hand in marriage at the Duke of Cambridge pub in Tilford, Surrey.

A few days later, with the ring hidden in a small suitcase, which Elle rifled through on multiple occasions, they took the train to London and went out for a spot of lunch in the rain. (which is meant to be lucky) Chris got down on one knee and popped the question.Visit our partners,shoes – leaders in fashionable footwear!

Whilst saying “YES!”, Elle got so excited that she knocked the ring out of Chris’ hand and it went flying towards the Thames. luckily it didn’t get too far and was soon on Elle’s finger.

Wedding Party:

Chris and Elle decided that Menorca would be the perfect place to tie the knot, it has a special place in both their hearts. It’s somewhere they have gone every year without fail to spend quality time together. It also helps that its really sunny, hot and has loads of amazing beaches, what’s not to love?
